Client: Davines France
Project: Digital Campaign #ShowLoveShopLocal - Calendrier de l’avent Davines
Year 2020
 #Jesoustienmoncoiffeur
During the lockdown, Davines France launched a #click&collect campaign, an initiative to promote the shopping of Davines products from local hairdressing salons affiliated with the brand. Government-imposed restrictions prevented the salons from running throughout the winter. However, they allowed the sale of hair care products to local consumers.

The campaign consisted of two phases: Within the Click & Collect drive; the first phase was support through a media kit dedicated to affiliated salons. The second phase involved some content creators and influencers in the promotion of a lovely Davines advent calendar.
"Le Calendrier de d'avent Davines" was the initiative launched during the Christmas period, with the participation and support of selected French influencers on social media. Several portraits were made and published on social networks to remind customers of the possibility of making a gift (Christmas boxes) by supporting the local salons still closed due to the lockdown.
The Brief:
"For Davine's advent calendar, we need to create a series of portraits of some content creators involved in the initiative. We cannot produce the photos ourselves. Are you able to collect and draw them independently?"
The portrait is a very delicate subject. It always touches the perception of our self, and I had some fears. I am well aware that I am a not very well-known illustrator, moreover active in Italy and not in France. I needed a solution to put the models at ease and bring out the best from the photos (sometimes taken on their mobile and sent as screenshots).

First of all, I introduced myself and explained my method.
The final result :
Léa Adelise
Leslye Granaud
Alice Llenas
A comparison between the photos used for portraits and the final result.
Color Test: This is an alternate version. The final color chosen is beige, thus satisfying the requests of the content creator to maintain greater harmony between the aesthetics of Davine's page and her own.

The challenge in the choice of colors was to find Christmas chromatic atmospheres without using the traditional colors of Christmas (red and green).
Once I completed the work, Davines delivered the portraits in a media kit to start the advent calendar.
The influencers shared the images on the feed and in their IG stories.
