THE BRIEF:
Many composers have left something unfinished, which was missing something. In some cases, scattered notes remained, not flowery ideas. Other works, on the other hand, have become absolute legends precisely because of their incompleteness. This is the reason why we have decided to dedicate our next issue to “Unfinished Stories”. It is not just a question of analyzing the pieces that are missing something, be it an ending, the last movement, a few lines: we intended to fathom why these works remained unfinished, the composers' motivations, and why not, we also wanted to take a look at the work of those who instead tried to put an end to some of these masterpieces.
We need a cover book that represents the plurality of feelings and events concerning these masterpieces.
What remains of unfinished work?
